Role Summary – Transfer Acquisition Specialist As a Transfer Acquisition Specialist at Nationwide, you will drive profitable personal lines growth by managing agency book transfers from evaluation through completion. Responsibilities Own transfer opportunities end-to-end, ensuring timely execution and delivery. Partner with territory sales managers, agencies, and internal teams to move and close deals. Manage timelines, workflows, and shipments to keep transfers on track. Guide agencies through the process by setting expectations and providing support. Proactively remove barriers and drive accountability for outcomes. Monitor pipeline and progress to achieve transfer goals. Drive successful transfer conversion and completion, focusing on outcomes over activity. Partner with sales to accelerate timelines and maximize results. Measured by DWP, PIF issuance, and overall transfer success. Skills for Success Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills. Results‑oriented, ownership mindset with a sense of urgency. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Analytical thinking and use of data to drive outcomes. Proactive problem‑solving and comfort navigating ambiguity. Qualifications Knowledge of personal lines, agency operations, and sales processes. Background in sales support or revenue‑generating roles. Track record of delivering results in a performance‑driven environment. Undergraduate degree in business administration, insurance, risk management, economics, or finance preferred. Professional designations such as CPCU, CLU or equivalent preferred. Typically, two years of experience in insurance, underwriting, sales or services preferred. Confirmed knowledge of sales programs, policies, and processes relevant to an independent agency distribution system. Strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal, leadership and relationship skills. Analytical and project management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Reporting Relationships Reports to the Manager or Director; individual‑contributor role. Compensation and Benefits Compensation range: $79,500 to $148,500 per year, with potential additional sales incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and company‑paid pension plan.
