Perform comprehensive cardiac imaging as a skilled Cardiac Sonographer, applying expertise in adult, pediatric, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute all cardiac ultrasound procedures following established protocols, including administration of Ultrasound Enhancing Agents and saline bubble studies where applicable.
• Obtain patient history and verify clinician orders prior to procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout the exam.
• Communicate clearly with patients and healthcare team members, providing preparatory instructions and oral summaries to physicians as needed.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring operation and cleanliness according to infection control standards.
• Participate in quality control and documentation, ensuring studies are properly identified and uploaded to PACS.
• Support department workflow by assisting colleagues, restocking supplies, and performing clerical duties when necessary.
• Remain compliant with all hospital and regulatory policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree or diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology preferred.
• Certification as ARDMS, RCS-CCI, or RDCS (Adult Echo) required upon hire.
• Current BLS certification from recognized agency required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in echocardiography preferred.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and function both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work 3 x 12-hour shifts with varying schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.
