Lead Quality Engineer The Lead Quality Engineer based at our Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions Tewksbury, MA site, will be responsible for leading customer facing Program Quality Engineering, Quality Contract Reviews, Supplier Quality and Inspection release/Customer Source Inspection activities as required. The candidate will drive continual improvement and development of the sites’ Quality Management System in accordance with AS9100 Quality System standards and customer requirements.A passion for root cause analysis and corrective action, a demonstrated ability to implement and drive quality and continuous improvement into manufacturing, program and supplier quality as well as experience effectively driving quality into the product and software development process will help define the right candidate for this position. A background in Aerospace & Defense Programs, hardware & software development programs with CMMI Capability Level 3 are considered significant assets.This individual should be a self-starter and have strong communications skills as well as having the ability to engage across all levels of the organization in building effective relationships.
