You should be familiar with sanitation regulations. You have the ability to train, develop, and create a culture for success. Job Requirements and Areas of Responsibility Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations. Liaising with the contracted companies for food orders. Interviewing and hiring new kitchen staff. Maintaining / raising the food’s profit margins. Controlling the BOH labor cost. Monitoring and controlling stock levels. Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed. Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen. Monthly pricing audits using your invoices. Completing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly inventory. Completing the business system to organize the restaurant's financials. Completing the purchase log report Completing inventory sheet, maintaining the menu cost analysis, updating pricing quarterly. Creating the kitchen schedule using forecasted sales projections.
