• Experience with patient ratios of 1:1
• Familiarity with charting system

Description:

Unit details include weekend coverage every other weekend. No call required. Floating may be required within facility/scope of practice. The unit accepts first-time travelers. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Compliance requirements are mandatory to start on time. All compliance documents must be submitted by the specified deadline. Full compliance is required prior to the beginning of the assignment. Experience with specific surgical procedures and techniques is essential. Daily census includes approximately 25 surgical cases. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration with various healthcare teams. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. Training in specialty equipment and procedures is required.
