Senior Project Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to take full ownership of projects from handover through to completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading multi-disciplinary teams, and is confident managing both technical and commercial project aspects. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end project delivery, from sales handover to final closeout Manage project scope, scheduling, cost control, and documentation Take accountability for financial performance, including forecasting and cash flow Identify and manage project risks, changes, and opportunities Handle client change requests and variation orders Build strong client and stakeholder relationships Support technical bids and commercial proposals Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers Oversee supplier performance and project timelinesEnsure clear communication and reporting to senior management Maintain high standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance Contribute to technical documentation, procedures, and reports About You Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related discipline) or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar project engineering role Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills Experience with financial forecasting in a project environment Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Able to work independently and manage high workloads effectively Strong communication and IT skills Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available) Benefits Competitive salary (£55,000 – £65,000) Private health insurance Matched pension contributions Life assurance (4x salary) 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Option to buy additional holidays Ongoing training & development and CPD support Subsidised gym membership Employee assistance programme Funded social, sports, and charity events Cycle to work scheme Electric car scheme Retail discounts and benefits platform If you’re looking to take the next step in your engineering career with a role that offers ownership, variety, and strong rewards, this position offers a compelling opportunity. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cooper Lomaz
