Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion, and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.At North Alabama Medical Center's Postpartum Unit, our nurses play a vital role in supporting mothers and newborns during recovery, education, and those first precious days of bonding.In this patient-centered environment, you'll blend clinical expertise with compassionate care—monitoring recovery, providing hands-on education, and empowering families with the confidence they need as they transition home. You'll work alongside a collaborative team that values support, connection, and excellence in every interaction.How you'll contribute:Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needsIdentifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventionsProvides care appropriate to condition and age of the patientPerforms timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical recordResponsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patientPerforms timely and accurate QI assessmentsWhat we're looking for:You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
