Courier Van Driver

Location: E. Elwood St., Phoenix, AZ, 85003 Shift: M-F 7 am (1st shift) Payrate: $16.50-$17.00 Job Description Drive to client locations, to include backing up the Tucson Route Perform incoming/outgoing deliveries Perform various Mail Center activities (sorting, metering, folding, inserting, delivery, pickup, etc.) Lift heavy boxes, files or paper when needed Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume environment Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines Adhere to all safety procedures Take direction from supervisor or site manager Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; attention to detail Participate in cross-training and perform other duties as assigned by Management Operate mailing equipment Shipping & Receiving Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages Perform other tasks as assigned Sort and deliver mail, small packages Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Possess a valid driver's license with a clear driving record. Must be 18 years of age or older. Compliance with company driving policies, as well as local, state, and federal driving regulations. Ability to drive a van with a safe driving record. Minimum of one year experience driving similar sized vehicles. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Detail-oriented with good time management skills. Ability to read a map and understand directions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
