Assignment Overview Travel RN - Med/Surg - Oncology Start Date: Oct 19, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Actual start date is typically 3-4 weeks from time the offer is received. Start dates are determined based on facility needs and credentialing requirements. Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a Med/Surg unit, requiring an active GA or Compact RN license and 18 months of recent experience. Details Med/Surg-Oncology unit focused on lung, hematology, and oncology patient populations 13-week travel assignment with an AM shift schedule at 8 hours per shift No on-call requirements Requirements Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand Minimum 18 months of recent RN experience required Skills self-assessment required for trach care, NG tube insertion, IV insulin protocols, peritoneal dialysis, and central line/implanted line care Additional Information Provide direct patient care to oncology, hematology, and lung patients in a Med/Surg setting Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed Candidates may only be submitted to one open position at a time These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates. Pay Weekly pay: $2,630/wk Assignment Total (13 Weeks): $34,190 Annual Equivalent (52 Weeks): $136,760 Weekly Breakdown Weekly Wages: $880/wk (Regular Hours: $22.00 x 40 hours/wk = $880) Weekly Stipends: $1,750/wk Lodging: $182.00 x 7 days = $1,274 Meals & Incidentals: $68.00 x 7 days = $476 In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $2,367 - $2,630.
