Shop Assistant

Become part of our team! We are seeking a Seasonal part-time Shop Assistant for a private residential community and sporting club unlike any other. Schedule includes weekends and holidays. We offer an end of season bonus!
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Shop Assistant greets and assists members and guests and provides exceptional customer service to ensure a pleasant experience. Works independently to neatly maintain the tennis court area, assist with lesson scheduling, assist in store, and assist with court maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individual with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Prepare and maintain tennis court area, tennis shop, and storage room.
- After play, clean and straighten up court area.
- Schedule lessons and advise Pros of lesson changes/additions.
- Charge lessons and sell/charge merchandise.
- Assist with court maintenance, sweeping and lining courts.
- Required to work weekends and holidays.
- Regular attendance and timeliness are required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions for this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is highly active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Must frequently lift and/or move items over five pounds while stocking shelves and refrigerator. Must have the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions. Will be required to sweep floors.
