Client Project Manager

Dakota BioWorx is seeking an experienced and professional full-time Client Services Manager to join our team in Brookings, South Dakota. As a key member of our organization, you will oversee the entire client engagement process, from the initial conversation through project completion. This full-time position plays a critical role in business development, project scoping, negotiation, and execution within our fee‑for‑service bioprocess portfolio. YOUR ROLE As a Client Services Manager, you will represent Dakota BioWorx at professional events, identify new business opportunities, and support the continued growth of our bioprocessing services. You will conduct client consultations to assess technical needs and develop project scopes, draft proposals and quotations, and lead contract negotiations. In addition, you will coordinate project planning, schedule equipment and staff, and ensure all deliverables align with client objectives. Throughout each project, you will maintain regular communication with clients, provide updates and milestone reports, and work to establish lasting partnerships built on service and technical expertise. CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER SCHEDULE This is a full‑time position located at our Brookings, SD facility. The role follows standard business hours and may require occasional travel to industry conferences, networking events, or client meetings. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science in a bioprocess‑related discipline such as chemical engineering, microbiology, biotechnology, bioprocess engineering OR equivalent/similar experience Experience in bioprocessing, microbiology, biotechnology, fermentation, or related technical fields Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to build positive relationships with clients, collaborators, and industry partners Experience with NDA’s, MTA’s, project scoping, negotiation, and quotation Experience with client relations management tools and organization systems ABOUT US Dakota BioWorx is a growing company in biotechnology and biomanufacturing, working to make South Dakota a leader in the national bioeconomy.
