Physical Therapist Assistant

Perform treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance well‑being according to the plan of care. Follow all state laws governing home care physical therapy, adhering to the supervising PT's treatment plan. Instruct patients in exercises, gait, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training. Observe, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT and healthcare team. Coordinate care with healthcare team members and instruct patients, families, and caregivers within scope of practice.
