With approximately 65,000 annual patient visits, a 49-bed ED, Cerner EMR, and a desirable Central Florida location between Tampa and Orlando, this opportunity is ideal for Emergency Medicine physicians seeking meaningful clinical volume, schedule variety, and short-term locum coverage in a strong regional market.

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

APP coverage is provided during the following windows:

• 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Practice Environment

This Emergency Department supports a busy Central Florida community hospital with a strong physician and APC staffing model. Physicians can expect approximately two patients per hour in a high-volume community EM setting with broad adult and pediatric presentations.

The role is well suited for Emergency Medicine physicians who are comfortable working in a dynamic ED environment, collaborating with APCs, managing patient flow, and delivering efficient emergency care across varied shift blocks.
