Accounts Payable Co-Op Student

Assist in performing routine clerical, bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative work in the Accounts Payable Department. Essential Job Responsibilities Answers, responds to, or appropriately directs telephone calls from staff, public, and outside vendors Opens, dates stamps, and scans mail Logs into the SharePoint system Copies documents, binds books, and completes scanning projects Prepares and submits expense reports for department members, as assigned Maintains Outlook contact files Handles special projects, as assigned Anticipates matters at hand and initiates action without requiring direction or supervision Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation Supports company vision and mission Other Job Responsibilities Assists with overflow work Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential Performs other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) Ability to work 20-30 hours a week Education Requirements High school graduation or GED equivalent.
