Medical Assistant / LPN - Clinic

Medical Assistant (Certified) or LPN Riverview Clinic Full-Time Position Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)

Job Summary:

• Administers nursing care in an outpatient facility or clinic under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Participates in the delivery and evaluation of patient care
• Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum One (1) year experience in direct patient care
• Medical Assistant - Currently be registered as Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Personnel or other governing body
• License Practical Nurse - Certification as a licensed practical nurse and Kentucky LPN license is required
• BLS / CPR certification
• Possess exceptional communication skills, critical thinking skills, and independent decision-making skills
