AI Training Infrastructure ArchitectRequired Skills & Experience• AI training infrastructure • Distributed AI/ML training environments • GPU cluster architecture • GPU interconnect technologies • Software-defined networking (SDN) • Network fabrics and networking protocols used for AI training • Distributed systems architecture • High-performance networking environments • Experience designing systems that support large-scale data movement between GPUs during model training • Previous architecture/design documentation experience • Software development experience (language agnostic)Candidates should have experience with some combination of: • AI Training (not primarily inference) • GPU cluster design • Distributed training systems • High-performance computing (HPC) • Network protocols • AI infrastructure architecture • Storage architecture supporting AI workloads • Network simulation or network design toolsNice to Have Skills & Experience• Experience working at a HyperscalerJob Description• Design AI training infrastructure and networking architecture • Create architecture documents and technical design documentation for internal engineering teams • Define software networking protocols and communication layers between GPU clusters • Advise FTE engineering teams on implementation and architecture decisions • Support build-out of AI training environments and distributed GPU systems • Contribute both documentation and hands-on technical work/code as neededThis person will help define: • How GPU clusters are interconnected • How data moves through AI training environments • Which networking protocols and architectures should be used • Best practices for AI training infrastructure and large-scale GPU communication • Architecture standards that can be handed off to full-time engineering teams Insight Global
