Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment focusing on pulmonary and general medical patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for pulmonary patients including those with tracheostomies, chest tubes, and COPD/Asthma.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
• Float within the service line as required.
• Participate in weekend rotations as per the scheduling requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Telemetry experience is preferred.
• BCLS and NIH certifications are mandatory.
• Capability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage related complications.
• EKG testing proficiency required prior to start.

Shift Details

• Full-time position offering 36 hours per week.
• Shift is 12 hours, with hours from 18:45 to 07:15.
• Three weekends are required every six weeks (total of six weekend shifts).

Patient Population

The unit primarily serves patients with longer lengths of stay, including those with pulmonary conditions and respiratory support needs.

Unit Information

The unit utilizes EPIC, PYXIS, and SBAR systems for effective patient management and communication.

Scrubs

Scrubs are not provided; navy blue and white combinations are required.

Contract Length

Contracts range from 16 weeks up to a hard stop on February 27, 2027, to support staffing needs through the holiday season.
