Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The assignment begins in September 2026 and concludes in mid-June 2027, providing a full academic year to make a lasting impact. This on-site position is designed for passionate SLP professionals ready to bring their CCC expertise to the school setting, delivering vital speech and language services and fostering communication development across student populations.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Holds active Maryland Professional Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required
• Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP environments is highly valued
• Prepared to present all required license images upon request
• Must complete House Bill 486 requirements, including district-specific background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review prior to start
• Flexibility to serve multiple school locations within the district (number to be confirmed)
• High level of professionalism for prescreen interviews and eligibility review

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to tailor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress records for assigned caseload (age groups to be determined)
• Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and ongoing student evaluations
• Support the district’s mission in providing accessible, inclusive communication support
