Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: COVID vaccine required Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry. This position requires a commitment to three 12-hour night shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays. The nurse will have the opportunity for charge and precepting roles. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 for both day and night shifts. The unit consists of private and semi-private rooms, focusing on telemetry acuity. Common patient diagnoses include elevated troponin levels, NSTEMI, post-operative care, and oncology cases. Nurses will manage a variety of intravenous medications and will work closely with the respiratory therapy team, which is available 24/7. Charting will be done using an electronic health record system. We encourage first-time travelers to apply, and orientation will be tailored based on experience. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required depending on the needs of the unit. Scrub colors will be specified during the hiring process.
