About the Job

Position Title: Urgent Care Physician

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Specialty/Setting: Urgent Care Clinic

Schedule: 7 shifts every two weeks, totaling 14-15 shifts per month.

Hours: Weekdays 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, Weekends 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Ideal Start Date: Immediate

Patient Volume: Approximately 30-35 patients per day

Job Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Must have experience treating patients of all ages
DOT Certification preferred (Can be obtained after hiring)

Compensation: $120 per hour

Benefits: Full benefits package included

Position Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

Provide timely and compassionate medical care to urgent care patients
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute medical conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary
Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the electronic health record system

Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Pennsylvania
DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
