About the Job

Position Title: Urgent Care Physician

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Specialty/Setting: Urgent Care Clinic

Schedule: 7 shifts every two weeks, totaling 14-15 shifts per month.

Hours: Weekdays 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, Weekends 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Ideal Start Date: Immediate

Patient Volume: Approximately 30-35 patients per day

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Must have experience treating patients of all ages
• DOT Certification preferred (Can be obtained after hiring)

Compensation: $120 per hour

Position Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and compassionate medical care to urgent care patients
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute medical conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the electronic health record system

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Pennsylvania
• DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
