Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Job Responsibilities Oversee procurement activities for advanced electronic systems used in specialized applications. Ensure procurement processes align with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including quality certifications and best practices. Manage purchase orders and coordinate lead times to meet project needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring compliance with internal specifications and regulatory standards. Negotiate terms, pricing, and conditions with suppliers, while maintaining rigorous quality control. Stay informed on market trends and supply chain dynamics to ensure the timely availability of materials and proactively address potential risks related to shortages or delays. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality assurance) to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements and timelines. Monitor and manage inventory to maintain optimal levels and avoid excess or obsolete materials. Prepare and oversee procurement documentation, including purchase orders and related procedures. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior procurement staff, supporting their development and skill-building. Lead procurement efforts, define resource needs, and communicate priorities and schedule changes to functional teams. Resolve discrepancies related to invoices and ensure smooth financial processes.
