Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-5 students in a vibrant educational setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This full-time contract position has two current openings, both located within a single building for added convenience and consistency. The role centers on delivering essential speech and language services to a dynamic pediatric caseload, fostering growth and communication for young learners.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with active SLP-CCC certification
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary (K-5) populations
- Skilled in assessment, intervention, and documentation within a pediatric/educational environment
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing is an advantage
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Indiana SLP state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work full-time during the academic calendar
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and create targeted treatment plans for students with communication needs
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions within the school environment
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to promote student success
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation, including data tracking and reports
- Provide input for IEP meetings and support compliance with educational best practices
- Actively participate in a team-focused atmosphere, sharing expertise and supporting colleagues as needed
