About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment . The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while developing individualized treatment plans designed to improve functional abilities and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals.
• Provide evidence-based interventions for speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies, communication techniques, and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered treatment environment.
• Adapt effectively to new facilities, clinical teams, and patient populations throughout the travel assignment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active SLP license in the assignment state or ability to obtain one.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required based on facility requirements.
• Previous SLP experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a travel healthcare environment.
