This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care while effectively managing diverse urgent medical conditions. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and physical examinations of patients of all ages presenting with urgent medical needs. Diagnose and treat a variety of acute medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses. Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment plans. Provide patient education on health maintenance and preventive care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Flexibility working at various locations and adjusting schedules as needed. Qualifications Board Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine. Active medical license in the state of Louisiana. Previous experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
