Requirements Next Step: Complete the Culture Index Survey – (Required to be considered for this position) What You'll Do Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on increasing revenue and market share Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and target markets Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers Conduct sales calls, site visits, equipment demonstrations, and customer presentations Partner with customers to understand operational needs and recommend solutions Collaborate with internal departments to ensure exceptional customer experience and support Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs Represent MHI professionally within the territory and industry Utilize CRM tools to manage activities, opportunities, and customer information Expected Outcomes (KPIs) Achieve or exceed territory revenue goals Increase market share within assigned territory Generate consistent new customer acquisition and business development activity Grow equipment, service, parts, rental, and solutions revenue Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast accuracy Improve customer retention and account penetration Build long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business Contribute to overall branch and company growth objectives Background & Experience 3+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, account management, or a related role Experience in material handling, industrial equipment, construction, manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry preferred Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Strong relationship-building and communication skills Ability to identify opportunities and close business independently Strong organizational and time management skills Experience utilizing CRM systems and sales tools Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory What Success Looks Like Successful Territory Managers are highly visible in their markets, consistently develop new opportunities, strengthen existing customer relationships, and drive profitable growth.
