Basic computer skills required.Experience Requirements Previous bindery, printing, manufacturing, machine operation, production, or industrial experience. Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred. Experience with quality inspections, machine setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance is a plus. Familiarity with production tracking systems and manufacturing software is beneficial.Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to train, direct, and support production assistants and helpers. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Safety-focused mindset with the ability to follow company policies and procedures.Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, and balance throughout the shift. Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds. Ability to work around moving machinery, forklifts, and production equipment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and hearing protection. Ability to work varying shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.Job Duties Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain bindery machinery to meet production schedules and quality standards. Load materials, prepare machine setups, adjust equipment settings, and perform make-ready activities. Conduct quality inspections and document production results according to company procedures. Package, label, palletize, stretch-wrap, and prepare finished products for shipment. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely. Troubleshoot machine jams and minor operational issues to minimize downtime. Train and direct assistants while coordinating workflow on assigned equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and company policies.Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
