About the Role:

A S & P Corporation is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Union City, CA. Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks

Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately

Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community outings, and activities

Encourage skill-building, independence, and community integration

Administer medications and follow health and safety protocols as required

Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Prior experience as a DSP, caregiver, or in human services preferred

Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check and health screening

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and client-centered approach

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays
