You Have: 8+ years of experience in software development including backend and services, including in a lead or senior role on delivered systemsExperience in a server-side language, such as Java, .NET, C#, Python, or Go, including building microservices and well-designed RESTful APIsExperience with relational and NoSQL data stores, including schema and data modelingExperience with message or streaming platforms, such as Kafka, and containerizationExperience with frontend, such as React, to contribute across the full stackExperience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deploymentAbility to translate mission and reliability requirements into scalable, resilient service designsSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technology field, or 6+ years of experience in mission systems in lieu of a degreeNice If You Have: Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed system patterns, such as CQRS, event sourcing, and sagasExperience with cloud-native development on AWS or KubernetesExperience implementing a secure SDLC, including scanning, secrets management, and secure coding practicesExperience with C2, ISR, or other mission-critical DoD systems and their operational constraintsExperience with API gateways, service mesh, and inter-service security such as mTLS or OAuth2/OIDCExperience with observability for distributed services, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetryTop Secret clearanceDoD 8570 IAT Level II Security+ CE or equivalentcertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
