Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Spokane, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a short-term acute care facility. The role involves floating between units, primarily providing specialized care to neonatal patients under the age of 2. The position requires flexibility to support patient needs across multiple units and adherence to specific clinical protocols. Job Details: Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid state license; at least 1 year of nursing experience; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); experience with neonatal care procedures including invasive monitoring, ventilator management, and medication administration. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, charting system proficiency in Epic, and prior float between units with neonatal patients. Float: Float rotation may be required between units, including pediatric units for patients under the age of 2. Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work during variable weekends, with a commitment to working 3 out of 5 designated holidays. Orientation consists of 24 hours. Candidates should be able to manage ventilators, invasive procedures, and neonatal-specific equipment.
