Electrician

Job Description:Objective: To provide consistent value to the customer by following service system and help the department grow through increased sales and efficiencyReports to: Electric Manager/Electric Team LeadEssential Duties and Responsibilities: (Includes, but not limited to)Complete all general electrical in-home, service calls, providing quality electrical solutions to customersEstablish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, curbside feedback and option sheets.Qualifications:Licensed with knowledge of local electrical codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.Develop proven track record in electrical techniques including electrical hardware, junction boxes and circuit breaker units, trace lines and reading wiring diagrams.Continued education and training.Clean, safe driving record.Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.Strong verbal and written communications.High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.Strong desire to be a better technician tomorrow than you are today.Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team.Physical ability:Flexibility: twisting, bending, stretching or reaching with your body, arms, or legs.Finger Dexterity: ability to grasp, manipulate or assemble small objectsManual Dexterity: hand and arm movements necessary to grasp, manipulate or assemble objectsProblem Sensitivity: ability to tell when something is going or likely to go wrongArm-Hand SteadinessPhysical Strength: ability to lift 150 lbs.Inductive Reasoning: ability to combine pieces of information to for a general conclusionCore and Trunk StrengthPhysical Demands: regular sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting for prolonged periods of time.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceExperience:Electrical: 2 years (Required)Work Location: In personHeartland Home Service is an equal opportunity employer.
