Rust Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support the development of high-performance data products, the fully remote Rust Engineer will design and implement sophisticated backend software components primarily using Rust while ensuring system reliability and performance for in-game analytics. Key responsibilities Develop high-performance, low-latency products to verify results for in-game play Write and maintain sophisticated Rust code for complex data science infrastructure Build and enhance internal and external tools to support the live trading platform Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field Minimum of 1 year of software engineering experience with Rust; 3 years preferred At least 3 years of experience developing scalable and reliable production systems Experience with data extraction, wrangling, and analysis in Python Strong SQL querying skills
