This role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations while supervising field crews and supporting long‑term operational goals. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven leader looking to advance into higher‑level operations management within 1–3 years. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise landfill personnel and heavy equipment operators Monitor daily operations and adjust staffing, assignments, and priorities as needed Conduct regular field inspections to ensure safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency Enforce company policies, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations Coach, train, and mentor employees; support performance reviews and development plans Address customer concerns and support positive community relationships Assist with setting and executing short‑ and long‑term operational goals Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset Qualifications Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (or equivalent leadership experience) 3+ years of leadership experience in a fast‑paced, people‑driven environment Experience supervising or working around heavy equipment operations preferred Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems Willingness to relocate in the future for promotional opportunities To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at Application information and additional instructions can be found once you select your position of interest.
