Founded in 1972, Popeyes® brings over 40 years of bold, craveable flavor to the quick service industry. Inspired by founder Al Copeland, the brand began with a big idea and one small restaurant: New Orleans-style fried chicken made with authentic Cajun and Creole flavor. That Louisiana heritage is still at the heart of every shift, influencing the food we serve and the menu fans love. Popeyes® is known for a distinctive, New Orleans-style lineup, including spicy chicken, chicken tenders, fried shrimp, and other regional favorites. We take pride in delivering great taste, fast service, and a fun, energetic experience for every customer-day after day. Today, Popeyes® is one of the world's largest chicken quick service restaurants, with more than 3,300 locations across North America and many more worldwide. And because each restaurant is proudly independently owned and operated, hiring decisions are made by local franchisees-so you can feel connected to the team and community you'll serve. If you're looking for a place where great food, friendly service, and teamwork matter, you'll find it at Popeyes®.
