Pre-Suit Attorney

Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Pre-Suit Attorney for its Gainesville, Florida office. The role involves managing pre-litigation work, focusing primarily on personal injury cases, particularly motor vehicle incidents. The attorney will oversee a team of Case Managers and ensure compliance with key performance indicators. Duties Handle all pre-litigation work daily. Complete Flip-to-Lit approval. Guide clients through the case process. Draft and file pre-litigation documents. Complete TD approval for liability issues. Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation. Manage the release approval process. Drive compliance and KPIs among the team. Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements. Requirements Law degree from a fully accredited law school. Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association. 2+ years of personal injury experience. Ability to manage a high volume of pre-lit cases. Excellent client service and communication skills. Strong leadership skills. Self-starter driven by long‑term career goals. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills. Desire to become part of a trial team. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership with the Florida State Bar Association. Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and client service skills. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
