Operations Assistant

Job DutiesEnsure an efficient operation in accordance with regulations and procedures.Promote good patron relationship and enhance the image of the facility.Oversee operation and provide instruction and guidance to staff members.Ensure that patrons receive courteous and efficient service.Work with facility staff and others to ensure that the operation runs smoothly. Assist staff members to provide faster service to patrons.Coordinate with Manager to schedule employees and ensure adequate manning for routine operations. Ensure that all personnel are fully utilized, call in or release unnecessary personnel as the situation warrants to ensue effective labor cost. Inspect facilities and employees appearance, with particular attention given to dress and cleanliness. Evaluate employees on a timely manner.Ensure that proper cash handling procedures are followed. Occasionally make unscheduled cash counts.Prepare a report of all significant occurrences/incidents during shift (e.g. personnel/staffing issues, equipment break down or repair).Identify and resolve problems that may arise.Ensure that a thorough and comprehensive safety program is enforced.Participate in creating and promoting effective programs and activities.May be required to use a cash register and POS system.May be called upon to perform duties of subordinate positions.Performs other related duties as assigned.
