Job Description NW Sports Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for a Full Time Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Lakewood, WA. What is a Patient Care Coordinator? Entry‑level office role responsible for maintaining pleasant and consistent daily operations of the clinic. Exemplary customer service skills. Multitasks across multiple computer programs each day. A Day in the Life of a Patient Care Coordinator Greets every clinic visitor in a friendly manner. Schedules new referrals received by fax or phone. Verifies insurance coverage for patients. Collects patient payments. Maintains an organized front‑office workspace. Performs other duties as assigned. Full‑time Positions Include Annual paid Charity Day to support a chosen cause. Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short‑Term and Long‑Term Disability Insurance. 3‑week paid time off plus paid holidays. 401(k) with company match. Position Summary The Patient Care Coordinator – I (PCC‑I) supports clinic growth through excellence in practice management and patient intake processes. The PCC‑I collaborates with the Clinic Director to carry out efficient clinic procedures and supports the mission, vision, and values of Upstream Rehabilitation. Responsibilities Core responsibilities Collect all money due at the time of service. Convert referrals into evaluations. Schedule patient visits. Provide customer service. Create an inviting clinic atmosphere. Make all welcome calls. Practice management Manage schedule efficiently. Manage document routing. Manage personal overtime. Manage non‑clinical documentation. Manage deposits. Manage caseload, D/C candidate, progress note, and insurance reporting. Monitor clinic inventory. Training Attend required training with Territory Field Trainers for Raintree and other business process updates. Complete quarterly compliance training. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong communication skills, able to relate well to Business Office and Field leadership. Ability to multitask, maintain detail orientation, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision. Efficient time management and presentation skills as a team member. Physical Requirements Work in indoor environment with typical office noise. Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week, possible evenings or weekends. Sedentary work with occasional standing, walking, and use of office equipment. Use computer repeatedly, view screen continuously, and type frequently. Occasional light lifting up to 20 lbs. Washington pay range: $18–$20 per hour.
