Charge Nurse - Stepdown/Critical Care

Seeking a registered nurse to lead and coordinate unit staffing, ensuring quality patient care and clinical objectives are met. Key Responsibilities Include Assigning, educating, and monitoring nursing/support staff during shifts. Assessing patient care needs and developing appropriate care assignments. Collaborating with advanced practice providers to ensure optimal outcomes. Evaluating patient care effectiveness and addressing issues affecting outcomes. Responding to patient care complaints and participating in staffing decisions. Possibly participating in hiring, training, and staff evaluations. Maintaining safety and performing other assigned duties. Qualifications And Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing. At least one year of registered nurse experience. Current RN license and BLS certification; additional certifications such as ALS, NRP, PALS may be required based on location. Excellent communication skills, physical stamina, and the ability to evaluate and respond to patient needs. Physical And Professional Requirements Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and data entry. Use of vision, hearing, smell, and manual dexterity to support patient care.
