Facility Maintenance Technician- East Baton Rouge Parish

Temporary

$20-22/hr + DOE

Monday - Friday, 7 am- 4 pm

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a Facility Maintenance Technician for a Baton Rouge manufacturing company that produces medical supplies.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Facility Maintenance Technician:

  • Emptying the shop trash cans containing scrap metal.
  • Keeping up with the preventative maintenance schedule on machines and on the facility.
  • Daily maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and taking out trash.
  • Assisting the maintenance manager with repair tasks on equipment throughout the facility.
  • Assisting the shop foreman with tasks in the machine shop.
  • Maintain a clean working area in the maintenance area.
Skills and Experience REQUIRED:
  • Must be on time every day and work 40-hour weeks.
  • Must have the ability to follow instructions.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task when necessary.
