Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Location: Glens Falls, NY

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours/week

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in EPIC and must be willing to float to various units as needed. This position requires adherence to state regulations and facility policies for temporary staffing needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care and interactions accurately in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have a valid New York RN license.
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience, with at least 3 years in an ICU or CCU setting.
• EPIC experience is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Travel experience is required; candidate must have their own vehicle.
