This behavioral health facility in eastern Connecticut provides comprehensive inpatient psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults. The facility operates within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment supported by psychiatrists, registered nurses, and PMHNPs, with a clinical focus on individuals presenting with a range of mental health and substance use needs. Locum tenens coverage is sought on an immediate and ongoing basis to support the facility's inpatient psychiatric programs.

Connecticut offers a range of destinations suited to varied interests, from coastal towns along Long Island Sound to inland farmland, wooded hills, and mountainous terrain. Notable attractions include Foxwoods Resort and Casino and Mohegan Sun, two of the largest casino resorts in the country, as well as family-oriented destinations such as Mystic Aquarium, Beardsley Zoo, and the Maritime Aquarium. Outdoor enthusiasts will find state parks, hiking trails, local wineries, and waterfront areas that accommodate a variety of recreational interests throughout the region.

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services on a day shift schedule, totaling 40 hours per week on-site in Connecticut. The caseload is divided approximately evenly between adult patients and child and adolescent patients, with clinicians seeing 10-12 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management across both patient populations. No call coverage is required for this assignment, and prescriptive authority is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
