Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine.

• 24 months gap required between for Travel at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine.

Additional Details:

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Eligibility as current/previous employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be able to function in all areas including general Xray, portables, OR, and fluoro.

Unit Details: - General Xray studies, OR cases (cystos, ortho, GI), and fluoro cases (ortho and GI). - Uses Cerner Community Works and Intellirad/Intelliconnect. - Uses OEC C-arms, GE AMX portables with DR Konica, and Del Medical, Siemens, and Philips diagnostic rooms. - No IV starts required. - May be the only tech in-house overnight. - Radiologist in-house until 5pm; on-call after 5pm, with vRad covering interpreting 2a-6a.

Shift & Scheduling: - Steady afternoon and midnight shifts. Every other weekend. - No call.

Special Requests: - May be asked to go into the holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: - Will float between general department, fluoro, and OR.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
