Facilities Maintenance Assistant

Up to $19 per hour

Wheaton Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a provider of comprehensive rehabilitative care, clinical, and psychiatric services, is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Wheaton, IL. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will work closely with our Maintenance Director to maintain, repair, and improve our facility. If you have a background in maintenance and can thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Works closely with and follows the directions from the Maintenance Director

• Maintains and repairs basic functions as determined by the Director

• Maintains the building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition

• Takes care of the tools and equipment

• Performs other duties as requested

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
