Seven Healthcare are seeking an RN with surgical expertise for a Travel assignment in Alamogordo, NM. This role focuses on providing care for a variety of surgical patients including Orthopedic, General, Podiatry, GYN/OB, Pain Management, Urology, and Endoscopy. Candidates will be working in a dynamic environment requiring proficiency in nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Surgery - Travel

• Demonstrate proficiency and independence in the care of surgical patients using the nursing process
• Consult with staff, physicians, and management on nursing problems
• Promote positive public relations and professionalism
• Manage patient/family issues effectively
• Communicate effectively with individuals of varying cultures and ages
• Practice medication administration accurately
• Exhibit strong time management and teamwork skills
• Adhere to hospital Policies & Procedures
• Act as a patient advocate and respect confidentiality
• Participate in quality improvement and compliance training

Requirements of the RN - Surgery - Travel

• RN License in state of NM required, or compact
• BLS required (AHA only)
• ACLS required (AHA only)
• PALS required (AHA only)
• CPI required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in surgical nursing specialty preferred
