TNRMT is a company that provides both property/casualty and workers' compensation insurance coverage to Tennessee School systems and Tennessee Governmental Entities. The applicant must have:

• A BS in Business Administration with at least 24 hours of accounting courses or at least 10 years accounting experience in a business office setting.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and GASB (Generally Accepted Governmental Accounting Standards.
• Must be able to prepare and have a thorough understanding of budgeting and financial statements.
• Experience with Oracle's NetSuite is preferred but not required.
• Be familiar with internal controls and procedures.
• Ensure all reporting is in compliance with GAAP and GASB.
• Assist with Investment analysis and review the Trust's Cash position constantly.
• Ensure that bank reconciliations are completed monthly.
• Maintain a chart of accounts.
• Reconcile credit card statements on a monthly basis.
• IRS document Preparation: Maintain records of specific payments issued to attorneys/claimants to allow correct preparation of 1099 forms. Process and issue annual 1099's to all appropriate vendors.
• Prepare timely and complete financial reports for review on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget and other forecasts.
• Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.
• Provide financial analyses as needed.
• Report the Trusts' financial results to the Board of Directors as needed.
• Report unclaimed property to the State of Tennessee.
• Work with and provide any information necessary or needed by external auditors for the annual audit.
• Monitor investment levels and make sure all are in compliance with investment directives by the State of Tennessee.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal government laws, rules and regulations.
• Any other duties assigned by the Trust Administrator
