Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekend-Only Position: Every Saturday & Sunday plus one weekday night shift per week | 13-week contract with potential extension

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III or Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Work all assigned weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday nights) plus one weekday night shift per week
• Provide holiday coverage as required by the facility
• Float to other departments and to a sister NICU unit as needed, with potential float to additional campuses within the local area
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including timely completion of pre-employment documentation and testing

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience
• Level III (large facility) or Level IV NICU experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current PALS certification (AHA only)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be available for weekend-only schedule with minimal to no requested time off

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred
• BSN degree preferred, though not required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
