Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring flexibility across multiple surgical service lines, including weekend and call availability.

Details

• Hospital operating room setting
• Serves multiple surgical service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics
• Day shift schedule: 09:00–19:30
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call responsibilities included
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 1 year of OR RN experience required
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple surgical service lines

Additional Information

• Performs all circulating duties including OR prep, patient positioning, and surgical setup
• Completes Safe Surgery checklist verification in accordance with service excellence standards
• Serves as communication liaison between the surgical team and patient families
• Delegates and supervises activities of other team members while responding to urgent or emergent situations
• Assists with supply and equipment control and maintenance
• Assumes duties both within and outside the sterile field as assigned
