Endoscopy Technician

Your future role at a glance Location: Panama City, FL Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Department: Operating Room Schedule: Day shift | Full-time | 8 or 10 hour shifts available | Call, holidays and weekends required How you'll make an impact in this role Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure safe, efficient endoscopic procedures and seamless workflow throughout the day. Assist with patient preparation and positioning to promote comfort, safety, and readiness before and during procedures. Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery and promptly communicate any changes in condition to the clinical team. Handle and manage specimens accurately to support timely diagnosis and continuity of patient care. Maintain endoscopy equipment and procedural areas to uphold infection prevention standards and ensure equipment readiness for future cases. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American RedCross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. What additional requirements you'll need Endoscopy or Operating Room experience preferred.
