Job Title: LTAC MS/Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: LTAC MS Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred; will consider 1 year on a case-by-case basis License: Pending license accepted; must obtain before starting Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Ability to pass arrhythmia and medication test on the first day Description: The LTAC MS/Tele RN is responsible for providing high-quality patient care. You will work night shifts in a fast-paced environment. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:6. You may be required to take on-call shifts. Weekend work may also be necessary. Float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs is expected. All requested time off must be included in the initial submission. Attendance is closely monitored, and excessive missed shifts may lead to contract review. The role involves working with adults and geriatrics who have complex medical conditions. Key patient diagnoses include respiratory failure, sepsis, and heart failure. You will manage patients on mechanical ventilation and those requiring dialysis. Strong skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias are necessary. Collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams is a crucial part of daily operations. Compliance documents must be submitted prior to starting. You will undergo testing on cardiac dysrhythmias on the first day. Passing these tests is mandatory to continue in the role.
