We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homecare Caregiver to join our team of experienced caregivers in Griffith, IN. At Angels Among Us, we pride ourselves on developing customized care plans tailored to each individual's unique health needs, ensuring that every patient receives compassionate and effective support at home.
About the Role:
As a Homecare Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in their homes. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Managing medication schedules and providing medication reminders
Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation
Encouraging independence and promoting a positive attitude
Maintaining accurate records of patient care and reporting any changes in condition to our care team
Requirements:
1 year of experience in a healthcare setting (home care, hospice, or long-term care)
Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
