Job Description

We are seeking a Database Administrator III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and high availability and a proven ability to design, implement, and optimize complex database platforms while leading initiatives with minimal supervision .

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement complex SQL Server databases, including high-tier environments.
• Lead or contribute to multiple moderately complex projects and special initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on database best practices, methods, and standards.
• Perform advanced performance tuning and optimization, including AlwaysOn configuration and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate complex issues using in-depth analysis and exercise judgment within established policies.
• Assign work, resolve problems, and mentor team members as needed.
• Automate operational tasks, monitoring, and maintenance where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on SQL Server Administration in enterprise environments.
• Expertise with AlwaysOn availability groups, performance tuning, and optimization for large, high-tier systems.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and implementing complex database solutions.
• Ability to lead initiatives and operate with minimal supervision in a project-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:

• MS SQL DBA experience within banking, preferably on the Application DBA side.
• Strong sense of problem ownership and client accountability.
• Linux administration and scripting proficiency (Shell, Python).
• Experience automating operations, monitoring, and maintenance for TigerGraph or other NoSQL environments.

• Assessment: Glider BOA-DBA-IV-V-1.
• Work schedule: Hybrid, minimum three days per week onsite.
• Hours per day: 8. Labor Type: Technical.
• Respond by date: 07/06/2026. Maximum submissions per supplier: 4.
